🚀 About the Role

Join an exciting digital transformation program as a Product Owner leading telecom-focused Agile delivery initiatives. You’ll own product backlogs, collaborate with stakeholders, and guide feature delivery in a fast-paced DevOps environment focused on OSS/BSS, CRM, and platform services. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, architecture, and product strategy! 📡

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Backlog Management: Manage and prioritize product backlog aligned with business goals and technical enablers.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product managers, architects, DevOps teams, vendors, and technical leads.
  • Solutioning: Review designs, data flows, and APIs, and contribute to grooming sessions with technical input.
  • Agile/SAFe Delivery: Drive agile ceremonies including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, System Demos, and refinement.
  • Quality & Compliance: Define DoR/DoD, acceptance criteria, testing, and ensure regulatory and security compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify product gaps, tech debt, and push innovation through automation and simplification.

📡 Telecom & Domain Expertise

  • Experience with OSS/BSS systems (CRM, provisioning, inventory, billing, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of telecom processes like Order-to-Activation, Trouble-to-Resolve, and Billing
  • Hands-on with transformation programs (e.g., Digital BSS/OSS, CRM modernization)
  • Familiarity with TM Forum standards (eTOM, SID, Open APIs)

🧑‍💻 Technical Skills

  • Strong experience writing user stories, technical epics, and managing product backlogs
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, cloud-native systems (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Proficient with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Postman
  • Ability to collaborate with architects, developers, and QA to deliver scalable solutions
  • Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps best practices

🎓 Preferred Background

  • 8+ years of experience in telecom product management or technical product ownership
  • SAFe or Agile certification a plus
  • Experience with Qwest Communication systems or similar telcos is a bonus
