📝 Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled GE Proficy MES Technical Lead with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in the design, development, and implementation of GE Proficy MES applications. You’ll lead technical development efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution in a high-demand manufacturing/automotive setting.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead hands-on development (50–60%) in GE Proficy Manufacturing Suite
  • Design and develop MES solutions including OPC interfaces, SQL databases, .NET scripting
  • Support full SDLC of MES deployment: architecture, testing, rollout, integration, and support
  • Guide and mentor junior developers in MES enhancements and problem resolution
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Drive multi-site MES rollouts across plants with a focus on operational KPIs

✅ Required Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with GE Proficy MES is mandatory
  • Proficy Plant Applications, Historian, IGS, Kepware
  • SQL Server, SSRS, .NET scripting
  • MES deployment and integration experience
  • Understanding of PLC, SCADA Systems, GE Cimplicity Tracker
  • Optional: Apriso or other MES tools experience

🔍 Functional Knowledge

  • Good understanding of Battery and Automotive Manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with standards like MESA and ISA95
  • Experience with manufacturing KPIs, Quality, Inventory, Order Management

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Creative, analytical, and collaborative problem solver
  • Global MES implementation or multi-site rollout experience
  • Ability to lead cross-functional, multicultural teams
