🔍 Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on MVS System Administrator to join a dynamic and high-paced environment in Austin, TX. This role involves physical server work, troubleshooting hardware, and working with Ubuntu Linux OS. Candidates should be eager to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

  • Rack, build, cable, configure, and provision Intel and AMD-based servers.
  • Troubleshoot and replace server hardware components.
  • Perform basic cabling and data center setup tasks.
  • Work in Ubuntu/Linux environments for provisioning and configuration.
  • Multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on technical role.

✅ Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of Intel and AMD server architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with server racking, hardware replacement, and cable management.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Ubuntu/Linux OS.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt rapidly.

🎓 Experience:

2–4 years of experience in system or server administration preferred. Entry-level candidates with strong foundational knowledge will also be considered.
