📌 Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Entra Identity Architect to lead enterprise-scale identity and access management initiatives. The role demands a hands-on leader with deep experience in Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, SSO, MFA, CIAM, and security protocols. This opportunity is for one of our premier clients in Chicago, IL.

🔧 Core Responsibilities:

  • ✅ Expertise in Microsoft Entra ID & On-Prem Active Directory – Installation, Configuration, Application Onboarding.
  • ✅ Implement OIDC, SAML, OAuth and legacy access management protocols.
  • ✅ Customize claims, conditional access, adaptive MFA policies.
  • ✅ Design and implement Single Sign-On (SSO), CIAM solutions, identity federation, and fraud detection systems.
  • ✅ Perform full-cycle application onboarding and migration.
  • ✅ Work with UNIX/Linux environments and scripting tools (Shell, Perl, PowerShell).
  • ✅ Assist development teams in factory design, integration, and DevOps practices (Docker, Jenkins, Bitbucket).
  • ✅ Develop and generate dashboards as per business and operational needs.

🌐 Technical Expertise Required:

  • 🔐 Strong knowledge of IAM lifecycle management and governance tools.
  • ⚙️ Ability to configure Entra Connect for user/password sync.
  • 🧠 Deep understanding of identity architecture – standalone and clustered modes.
  • 🌍 Proven experience with 2–3 Entra ID implementations and application migrations.
  • 🗂 Exposure to DevOps orchestration tools and IAM infrastructure components.

🎯 Additional Requirements:

  • 📈 Demonstrated leadership in client-facing roles and global project environments.
  • 🛠 End-to-end access management testing experience.
  • 📣 Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • 🧩 Familiarity with identity federation, CIAM, and fraud prevention solutions.
  • 💬 Experience in working with international clients and managing key relationships.
