📝 Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Desk/Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT support team. You will provide Level 1 & 2 technical support, troubleshoot across hardware/software environments, and ensure business continuity in a 24x7 setup.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, mobile devices.
- Manage Windows 7/10/11 environments on HP/Dell hardware.
- Support remote users via LogMeIn, TeamViewer, Remote Desktop.
- Configure and troubleshoot Office 365, Exchange 2013, and Outlook.
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and user account management.
- Support antivirus tools: SOPHOS, Symantec, TrendMicro.
- Support third-party applications (Adobe, Skype, Chrome, etc.).
- MAC laptop and mobile (iOS/Android) support.
- Ticket resolution using Cherwell, Track-IT, or other ITSM tools.
- Install and upgrade hardware (RAM, HDD, motherboards).
- Follow ITIL processes: incident, change, configuration management.
- Maintain documentation and train end-users when needed.
🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years in desktop support / service desk environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, Exchange, AD
- Experience with remote support & ticketing tools
- Understanding of ITIL framework and change management
- Excellent troubleshooting & customer support communication skills
📜 Preferred Certifications:
- ITIL v2 Certification
- MCSE – Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
