📝 About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong background in observability and production support to join a high-impact technology team. This role demands a proactive mindset for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving complex production issues using cutting-edge monitoring tools and performance analytics.

📦 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience in lieu of education)
• 4+ years of IT experience
• Must be located within commuting distance of Overland Park, KS or Bellevue, WA, or willing to relocate
• SRE mindset in production support: proactive issue detection via observability tools
• Experience with Splunk, Splunk APM, Splunk O11y, AppDynamics
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, Database, Networking
• Familiarity with tools like NMON, Wireshark, and APM systems

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in setting up observability dashboards (Splunk logs, metrics, UEM, synthetic monitoring)
• Incident leadership: ability to run high-stakes triage calls with VP/SVP visibility
• Technical troubleshooting across the full tech stack: App, DB, Network, Containers
• Strong debugging skills in VMs, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, PCF, and more
• Performance analysis, memory leak investigation, heap dump review
• Automation of toils and recurring issues
• Use of advanced observability tools: Grafana, RedMetrics, ThousandEyes

💬 Communication & Leadership

• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Ability to lead incident response and direct engineering teams in real time

🌎 Work Location & Flexibility

Candidates must be either based in or ready to relocate to:

• 📍 Bellevue, Washington
