📌 Role Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced WebLogic/WebSphere Consultant to join our enterprise infrastructure team. This role will involve the design, installation, performance tuning, automation, and 24/7 monitoring of J2EE Application Servers across distributed UNIX/Linux environments.

🛠️ Required Technical Skills:

  • J2EE App Servers: WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss (Performance Benchmarking)
  • Cloud: Microsoft Azure / Amazon EC2
  • Messaging & DB: IBM MQ, Oracle DB (with performance analysis)
  • Caching & Streaming: Hazelcast, Elastic Search, Kafka (nice to have)
  • Scripting: UNIX Shell / Perl / Web App Server Scripting
  • OS: Solaris, AIX, Linux
  • Clustering & HA: UNIX high availability systems

✅ Responsibilities:

  • Design, evaluate, install, monitor, and maintain complex UNIX/Linux-based applications like GPP, GCP, Total Payments.
  • Configure and support production/test/dev environments across Solaris/AIX/Linux systems.
  • Handle capacity planning, disaster recovery (DR), high availability setups, and performance tuning.
  • Automate 24/7 monitoring with custom scripting and enterprise-grade monitoring tools.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, proposals, and RFPs.
  • Conduct internal technical training and knowledge sharing sessions.

🎓 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Elastic Search and Kafka implementation
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation for large-scale environments
  • Understanding of middleware architecture and UNIX clustering
